This was my Dad's first car. He bought it brand new from the Dealer on January 20th, 1967. Luckily the car stayed in the family. I didn't know about the car until a couple years ago when I met Mike. In fact, I didn't even know what a Mustang was! Due to the Fact that Mike and his family are huge Mustang fanatics... my Dad's old Mustang was casually brought up in conversation. A year or so later, I was lucky enough to purchase the car from my Aunt (who thankfully never let it become scrap metal).
This blog is all about the restoration process through the eyes of a Mustang Fanatic-in-Training. I don't know all the car terms, or even the methods of how to restore a car. So this blog will not be technical. Any big technical phrases used I got from Mike.
I also want to point out that I have been posting under days. They are not in any means consecutive days. For example, Day 5 and Day 6 happened to be almost two months apart. I list this by days to simplify it, and to keep things organized and straight in my head. This is going to be a long and drawn out retoration, so there should be plenty for people to read about :-)
