I was so excited to see this pulling into our driveway yesterday! The car is finally painted. The fenders, trunk, hood, and doors are not finished yet, but the body of the car is so we can now start assembling it. It is just so hard for me to fathom that this is my car. Not only that, but it was my dad's first car. I love it! To really stop and think about how incredible this all is... really makes me tear up. It is all just so awesome!
Such a gorgeous color!
Before anyone freaks out, no the car didn't fall off the trailer. Getting it off the trailer wasn't working so well the first time so that car is resting there while another plan was formulated.
It's off the trailer and ready to go back into the garage.
In it's rightful place in the garage.
I will be doing another post later tonight about all the progress that was made yesterday. The car was in the garage and Mike and his dad went right to work. It blows my mind seeing all the progress made in the first day it was back. I think it is going to be hard to keep the blog updated with all the cazy progress so I am going to be straying away from how I was listing things by days. At this point the posts will probably turn into more pictures and less writing. I am going to try snapping as many pictures as I can, but wont have time to get explainations on different car parts and what exactly was done. So from here on out... expect a blog of many pictures and little words.
On a side note... I just realized this post is the 100th post on this blog. What better post to be the 100th than this one!
